United E-way.org launches online workplace giving service
Local United Ways representing major markets throughout the
United States have announced the formation of United eWay.org. The consortium is a 501(c)(3) organisation dedicated to delivering custom internet-based workplace giving solutions to local United Ways and the organisations and employees they serve.
United eWay.org systems provide a way to manage and administer workplace campaigns. It says its service will lower significantly “the cost of creating unique company sites or new costly software while providing rich, customised content and comprehensive workplace giving features.”

The announcement comes just five days before pioneering workplace giving company Charitableway.com closes down.
Some of the benefits of United e-Way.org include:
- A web based utility, which allows the custom design of a unique workplace-giving site for each local United Way and each company so that every site is unique.
