UN World Food Programme breaks with the HungerSite

The UN World Food Programme has severed contacts with the HungerSite, the click-to-give-for-free Web site that has generated income for the organisation since June 1999. WFP was reportedly concerned about the finances of the organisation that now runs The Hunger Site and about the speed with which donations were being passed on.
