192.com, the online provider of UK directory information, is helping homeless charity CRISIS this Christmas. It is providing Internet access to its Web site for homeless people who come into the charity’s shelter over the Christmas week, so that they can try to trace relatives or friends. In addition CRISIS is using the Web site to help collate valuable information for homeless people about the services and facilities in their areas. They have previously had to rely on traditional directories and A to Z’s, which are time-consuming and impractical.
