New non-profit aid electronic marketplace

The i2 Foundation is working on a non-profit electronic marketplace “to help streamline the delivery of humanitarian aid and disaster relief,” according to InternetAge. The marketplace, aidmatrix, will cost $100m to set up, and agencies such as the American Red Cross will reportedly collaborate in optimising supply chain elements through the Web site.
