Lottery operator Camelot has announced that a £3 million lottery jackpot is still unclaimed after six weeks. If the prize is not claimed before 5 March it will be added to the good causes pot for distribution

Lottery operator Camelot has announced that a £3 million lottery jackpot is still unclaimed after six weeks. If the prize is not claimed before 5 March it will be added to the good causes pot for distribution.

Kingston Upon Hull has the largest amount of unclaimed prize money – £3,471,763 – which looks destined for good causes, followed by London at £2,071,572.

Since 1994, £346 million of lottery prizes has gone unclaimed. That includes, remarkably, £46 million from the clearly-less-than-instant Instants scratchcards.
