Free charity ISP raises £20,000

Waitrose.com, the free charity Internet Service Provider featured by UK Fundraising in September 1999, raised £20,000 last year for its four selected charities. The donation represents a share of the call charges paid by subscribers to the service. The recipient charities were The Prince’s Trust, The British Red Cross, the British Heart Foundation, and Macmillan Cancer Relief.
