Adam Corson-Finnerty’s summary of online fundraising reaches part eight.

In part eight of his online fundraising series Cybergifts, published on Canada’s Charity Village, Adam Corson-Finnerty looks at online workplace giving.

He was moved to address this issue when he learned that on February 3 2000 the Ford Motor Company announced that it was going to buy high-speed computers for every one of its 350,000 employees worldwide. He reasoned that Ford is viewing its employees as a customer base in a way, and imagine how that approach could be used to appeal to the charitable support.
