In “Charity begins at the homepage”, Paul Bradshaw highlights the success of Comic Relief in March this year. He interviews Brian Ford, Head of Marketing at Marie Curie Cancer Care, who estimates that the cahrity has raised “no more than £5,000” online. He adds that “fundraising on the Internet for us is very small, and the donations pages are very basic. But we’re working on something that hopefully will be a little more sophisticated.”
Bradshaw adds his “five of the best charity Web sites”, namely British Heart Foundation, Marie Curie Cancer Care, World Wildlife Fund, Comic Relief, and RNIB.
