Six charities have scored a first by using a TV advert to encourage people to leave charitable bequests.

Six charities have scored a first by using a TV advert to encourage people to leave charitable bequests. The two-minute advert was the work of Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Blue Cross, NSPCC, Oxfam, Shelter and RSPB. It was screened on Channel 4 and satellite channels. Tom Smith of Smee and Ford told Charity Times that it is “the most exciting new development in legacy fundraising.”
