Companies House is now searchable

Companies House records can now be searched via the Web. The public information service about UK businesses launched the Web version of their database this month.

You can search some information for free, included disbarred directors, but you still have to pay for other company search material.

Strangely, the databases are not accessible to Web users over the weekend i.e. out of office hours.
