Community Day, the campaign by leading voluntary sector organisations and the TUC for a new UK bank holiday dedicated to communities and volunteering, now has its own Facebook group, CommunityDay – Let’s have it off!. It is up to 404 members so far, plus nine posts on the wall. Not exactly a mass movement, but the TUC has done its bit with a congresstv.tv video promoting the campaign.
