Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel rebrands to better reflect purpose

Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel has become Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel with new branding and a redesigned website.

The independent body is responsible for overseeing fundraising standards and adjudicating on fundraising complaints in Scotland. With the new brand and website, the Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel hopes to strengthen its position in the fundraising sector in Scotland and its role in self-regulation in Scottish fundraising.

The Panel’s new name has been chosen to better reflect the Panel’s purpose and the logo was designed to create a simple, clear identity. The logo features a unique icon to represent the adjudication function of the Panel and the role played in upholding fundraising standards.

The redesigned www.goodfundraising.scot website has improved functionality including a member’s resource area for charities registered for the Good Fundraising Guarantee, improved complaints submission process and has been designed to be easy to navigate with clear language.

As part of the rebrand, the Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel will replace the current Good Fundraising Guarantee logo with a new design for use by Scottish Registered Charities. The Fundraising Guarantee logo will continue to demonstrate a charity’s commitment to fundraising best practice as outlined in the Code of Fundraising Practice.

Chair of the Panel, Kirsty Connell-Skinner, said:

“The Panel are excited to introduce our new logo and website. Over the past five years the Panel has been proud to work closely with fundraising organisations and stakeholders to deliver strong, independent regulation for the fundraising sector in Scotland.”

“With the Panel’s core functions – overseeing fundraising standards and adjudicating on fundraising complaints in relation to Scottish registered charities – in mind our rebrand emphasises the Panel’s role in adjudicating fundraising complaints, maintaining best practice in fundraising and increasing public confidence in charities.”

“The new website reflects our updated brand, and provides useful information for charities and members of the public alike on fundraising standards, guidance on making a complaint about a Scottish charity’s fundraising; and how Scottish charities should manage fundraising complaints.”
