JustGiving’s Eventbrite integration to turn event attendees into active fundraisers
JustGiving has added an Eventbrite extension to give charity event attendees the chance to create fundraising pages to raise more money for the cause.
Charities that promote an event on event management platform Eventbrite will be now be able to offer ticket buyers a further option of supporting the charity. During the checkout process the Eventbrite will invite them to create a fundraising page on JustGiving.
Jamie Parkins, Senior Product Manager at JustGiving, explains:
“This integration with Eventbrite combines JustGiving’s dedication to using the power of technology for good with helping charities reach more people to raise even more. We’re delighted to launch this to the events marketplace.”
There is no charge for a charity to switch on the Eventbrite and JustGiving extension. The integration has been built ‘mobile first’, meaning that ticket buyers should find it a seamless move on their mobile device.
The integration also works even if the event is a multi-charity event. As an event organiser the charity can use the extension to list up to five charities for the ticket buyer to choose from.
It comes with tracking: every page created via the extension will be marked as “Eventbrite” in a charity’s fundraising page report, so usage and sign ups can be measured.
