Libor fines funding available for military and emergency services charities

Howard Lake | 13 September 2016 | News

The Treasury is inviting military and emergency services charities to apply for funding from fines levied on banks that manipulated Libor, the inter-bank lending rate.
Applications from other “related causes” are also invited.
Applications opened last month and close this week at midday on 15 September 2016. This is to “allow enough time to consider all bids ahead of the Autumn Statement”.
To register interest in this funding and to request an application form contact HM Treasury.
The Treasury expects “significant interest in this round of LIBOR funding”.
You can also find guidance at the Treasury’s How to apply for LIBOR funding, including information on previous successful bids for LIBOR funding.
