The charity’s annual photography and video competition will run alongside the Humanitarian Award, where young people can submit entries also based on the theme ‘making a difference matters’. “Following the brilliant entries received for last year’s Humanitarian Awards, we’re excited to see the heroic work that young people have carried out over the last year. We are also pleased to add a new video category to the photography competition and look forward to seeing how this year’s theme is captured through the power of photography and video. Good luck to all this year’s entrants!”

Nominations for the 2016 awards are open until 7 August 2016.
Winners of the Humanitarian Award and the photography and video competition will be announced at an awards ceremony at the House of Commons, Palace of Westminster on Tuesday 15 November 2016.
