Social enterprise’s beer toasts the value of volunteers

We’ve covered fundraising from beer and wine several times over the years, but now we’ve come across a beer that recognises the value of volunteers in the community.
The Volunteer is brewed in Wales by social enterprise Cwrw Iâl Community Brewing Company. It is described as “a quaffable, copper-coloured modern session ale” with a 3.7%ABV.

The company explains the ale’s name:

“Volunteers make a massive difference to people and communities all over the UK. This ale is a mark of respect to all volunteers everywhere. Why not raise a pint of this modern session ale to them?”

Although sales of this beer don’t raise funds for a charity, Douglas Macpherson, the Director of the brewing company explains why they gave the ale its name:
