Guide to Educational Grants 2016/17 published
The Directory of Social Change has published a new edition to The Guide to Educational Grants, its directory that helps students find financial support.
DSC has published the guide since 1988, providing extensive and reliable information about sources of financial aid for their studies and research.
Over 1,000 sources of finance
The Guide to Educational Grants 2016/17 is the 14th edition of the publication. Fully revised, it lists over 1,000 financial sources worth £45 million to help students.
Sources include:
- National and general sources of help
- Livery companies, orders and memberships organisations
- Statutory grants and student support
- Local charities
- Company sponsorship
It is used both by students and their families, and by professionals who advise or assist students on financial matters and support. It includes tips and guidance on applying from education sector grantmakers.
