vInspired seeks sports-related projects to fund

Melanie May | 13 April 2016 | News

vInspired is seeking applications from 14-25 year olds for its Get Active for Good Cashpoint funding programme.
Cashpoint offers 14-25 year olds grants of up to £500 to design and run their own social action projects. Get Active for Good is a new initiative for young people to run projects that use sport and physical activity for good in their community, and is supported by Sport England.
Projects must clearly benefit a chosen community, be either new or an idea used in the past that the applicant would like to try again in a different way. They must also create at least two new volunteering opportunities for 14-25 year olds in addition to the applicant, and volunteers must give their time to help others, rather than just taking part in an activity.
More information on how to apply is available on the vInspired site.
