Wonderful website helps people and businesses support charities

A new website that enables people and businesses to offer services and donate their fees to charity is looking for more charities to get involved.
Launched by non-profit organisation the Wonderful Organisation, Wonderful.org works as a classified listings website, enabling visitors to search and book a service online. However, when a booking is made through the Wonderful website, 100% of the payment is passed to charity, with all of the site’s operating costs covered by philanthropic businesses and organisations.
Payments for services are split 50/50 between a participating charity chosen by the customer at the point of purchase and one selected by the service provider when listing their service. Charities receive payments on a quarterly basis, and Gift Aid provision is due to be added with the next release.
Wonderful is looking for a mixture of local, national, and international charities to get involved. Charities involved at launch include Cancer Research UK, The Donna Louise Trust, and South Powys Youth Music.
To become involved, charities can ask to be added to the site at https://wonderful.org/charity-signup.
Kieron James, founder of Wonderful, said:

“The Wonderful Organisation has been created to allow people to give a little time doing things they enjoy and in which they are skilled, trained or experienced and we are absolutely committed to every single penny going to charity: no money goes to Wonderful and our guiding principle is that everybody working for the organisation must do so on a pro-bono basis.”
