Global Gift Gala appoints CharityStars

Melanie May | 2 February 2016 | News

CharityStars has been announced as Global Gift Gala’s official fundraising partner for 2016, following its support of the international fundraising initiative’s 2015 London and Dubai events.
CharityStars hosted a variety of online auctions for Global Gift Gala, which raises funds to help women and children worldwide, before both events, as well as managing silent auctions at each gala dinner.
The Dubai event saw a Picasso original ‘Seven Studies for a Head of a Harlequin’ sell for £120,000, while a piece by Dali sold for £50,000. Overall, $1,418,528 was raised at the galas in 2015, which took place in Paris, Cannes, and Marbella, as well as London and Dubai.
Co-founder of the Global Gift Gala, Maria Bravo said:

“CharityStars supported us in raising a huge amount for such well-deserving causes. It made complete sense for us to continue to work with them this year and I’m delighted to call them our official fundraising partner,”
