OSCR launches new logo for charity use

Melanie May | 20 January 2016 | News

Scottish regulator OSCR has created a logo for charities to use to show the public that they are on the Scottish Charity Register.
The charity registration logo can be downloaded from the OSCR website and is for use on websites, email footers and other electronic media. It invites people to check the charity’s status on the OSCR site.
The logo is strictly for registered charity use only. Users are asked to link the logo to their entry on the Scottish Charity Register and not to use it on print or display material, or in any way that could imply the OSCR’s endorsement of any material or its content.
The OSCR is also reminding charities that use the logo that they must still also abide by the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, and its supporting regulations.
