Belfast council opens small grants round for 2016

Belfast City Council (BCC) has opened a series of grant programmes for activities which will take place next year.
BCC’s Small Grants programme will offer grants up to £10,000, in most cases, for work in the following areas:
· Community Festivals Fund
· Arts and Heritage Project Grant
· Policing and Community Safety Grant
· Good Relations Grant
· Summer Intervention Fund
· Parks Events Grant
· Support for Sport: Sports Event Grant
· Support for Sport: Large Development Grant
· Support for Sport: Small Development Grant
· Support for Sport: Hospitality Grant
· Support for Sport: Sporting Individuals Grant
· Community Development Project Grant
· Community Development Summer Scheme Grant
Throughout November BCC is organising a series of information events for potential applicants which are listed on the website. Basic criteria for applications is that the activities take place in Belfast and conform with BCC criteria as outlined in each of the programme areas.
The closing date for online applications for Belfast City grants is 8 January 2016.
