Charity organiser cancels more events
A company which organises runs and walks for charity in Northern Ireland has cancelled more events and has not responded to individuals who have paid registration fees, according to media reports.
Events company Endurance Junkie, based in Belfast, earlier this year cancelled the Titanic Half Marathon and the Colour Dash, Doggy Dash and Run For Your Life events, all scheduled to take place at Crawfordsburn Country Park outside Belfast.
The latest event to be cancelled by Endurance Junkie is the Glow Run which was scheduled to take place with a number of charities in Derry on 21st November.

A Derry mother whose daughter almost died of meningitis and was taking part in the Glow Run told the BBC that she was unable to make contact with the events company and another local women said she and her friends who paid £500 for registration fees and branded t-shirts had also heard nothing from Endurance Junkie.
Previously William Anderson represented Endurance Junkie but he has not been available to media.
Although a charity’s logo was visible on posters advertising the event, the charity representatives said that Endurance Junkie is an independent organisation and not linked to theirs in any way.
Endurance Junkie’s website has been taken down recently.
