New charity insurance website launched

Commercial insurance specialists Alan & Thomas Insurance Group has launched a dedicated website on insurance for charities and voluntary organisations in the UK.
The Dorset-based independent broker has served the charity sector for over thirty years, offering professional advice on their risk management procedures and insurance programmes.
The new website features information on the different types of insurance cover available to charities. As well as standard business cover such as public liability, computers, professional indemnity and group travel, it also features charity-specific insurance such as Trustees and Directors indemnity and events cover.
Charities with an income of less than £25,000 can quote and buy their cover online. Larger charities can request a free quote online.
The Alan & Thomas Insurance Group site also offers charities a free online risk management service to help organisations with issues such as health & safety, compliance training and the day-to-day running of their organisation.
