Localgiving to triple 1,000 £10 donations on Giving Tuesday

Localgiving.com, the online giving platform for small and local charities, is to mark tomorrow’s first Giving Tuesday in the UK by tripling the value of 1,000 donations of £10 it handles for charities on the day.
Every £10 donation made through Localgiving.com between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59 on 2 December 2014 stands a chance of being boosted by a further £20! Localgiving will allocate the match funding to 1,000 of the £10 donations made during the promotion.
How random is random? It will be using the services of random.org to make the selection.
There is £20,000 of match funding available for the promotion. Donors may make as many £10 donations during the promotion as they wish. There is no limit to the amount of match funding any single group may receive.
Of course, Localgiving does not guarantee that any single donation will receive match funding as part of this promotion, “but obviously the more donations you make, the better your chances!”
