A&B in Northern Ireland offers fundraising training

Howard Lake | 29 September 2014 | News

Arts and Business Northern Ireland has organised two events in the coming months to help arts organisations raise funding.
On Thursday 9th October a Trusts and Foundations Symposium will be held in the MAC in Belfast. The event will include representatives from charitable trusts in Northern Ireland, such as Ulster Garden Villages and the Lloyds Foundation NI, and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation in Britain.
The symposium is aimed at informing applications to charitable trusts and will provide organisations with the opportunity to meet trust representatives on a one to one basis.
Sponsorship will be the topic for another Arts and Business Northern Ireland event on 11th December at the Ulster Bank’s headquarters in Belfast. ‘New Frontiers in Corporate Engagement’ is described as a masterclass and will question traditional sponsorship approaches.
Current sponsorship trends will be assessed, with practical advice for organisations. The event is open to all A&B members.
