Online content platform Medium.com is offering to produce up to 10 stories for charities “in a truly stunning fashion” to help them get their message out to an even wider audience.
The company’s first ‘Storytelling for Good’ competition will bring writers, photographers and illustrators together to create a striking presentation of up to 10 charities’ campaigns and messages. Although Medium.com is based in the USA, they have confirmed to UK Fundraising that the competition is open to charities and nonprofits internationally.
You can get an idea of what one of their stories looks like from their Beautiful Stories collection.

How to apply

To apply, organisations simply have to write a short pitch for a story about the organisation’s work. It could be about a particular project, the people you help, or the issue you are tackling.
“Tell us about the story you think needs to be shared”, urges Medium.
They meant short too: “pitches should be 2-3 paragraphs at most”.
The deadline for submissions to st**********@me****.com is 30 April 2014. Winners will be announced on 30 May.
