Piggy Bank wines to give another £10,000 to charities
Piggy Bank wines, whose strapline is ‘generosity in every bottle’, is inviting the public to vote for its three shortlisted charities, who will share a £10,000 donation proportionately based on the number of votes each receives.
The wine company donates 50p for each bottle of wine it sells. When the total of donations reaches £10,000 it is split between three charities.
Currently the selected charities are Meningitis Now, Water Aid and the RNLI.
Charities which have received donations in the past include:
- Shelterbox – £4,600, August 2013
- Ovarian Cancer Action – £3,800, August 2013
- Alzheimer’s Society – £1,600, August 2013
- Wildlife Aid – £7,400, August 2012
- Ataxia – £2,000, August 2012
- Waitrose Foundation – £600, August 2012
- JDRF – £5,076, August 2012
- Back Up – £4,490, August 2012
