NI research into donor profiles to be shared

NICVA, in conjunction with Giving NI, is hosting an event on charitable giving in Northern Ireland which focuses on the profile of donors.
‘Individual Giving in Northern Ireland’ will discuss the first stage of research that NICVA is conducting into individual giving in Northern Ireland. It will focus on the profile of individuals who donate with regard to age, gender and region.
It will also provide information on the impact of the current economic climate on donations, donations of gifts in kind and the awareness and use of legacy giving. Everyone at the event will have the opportunity to participate in round table discussions.
Among the speakers will be Andrea Thornbury, research officer at NICVA, who will share information from the Giving Report 2013, Sandara Kelso-Robb, strategic advisor to Giving NI, and Maeve Monaghan from Give Inc, Northern Ireland’s first giving circle.
The event will take place in The MAC in Belfast on 25th November from 4:30pm to 6pm. Admission is free.
