Survey looks at how hospices use social media and smart technologies

Howard Lake | 9 October 2013 | News

Not-for-profit sector technology specialists Access Group are investigating how hospices use social media and smart technologies. They are inviting hospice fundraisers and communications staff to complete a survey.
Following their presentation at the Help The Hospices Care Conference this month, the results will be published on UK Fundraising.
Access Group last ran a survey of hospices’ use of social media in 2011 so the findings will demonstrate the breadth and pace of change since then. Those taking part will also be able to use the findings to benchmark their progress in using these tools.
Access Group will donate £5 for each completed survey up to a maximum of £250. This sum will then be donated to one of the hospices whose staff have completed the questionnaire, drawn at random. The survey is open now.
