Since 2011 the company has donated almost 330,000 individual items of clothing and accessories to the charity. Each item is then are de-tagged, unbranded and sold in the Red Cross’ chain of 325 shops across the UK.

British Red Cross Head of Retail, Paul Thompson, said: "We are really thankful to H&M for helping us to give our customers even greater choice. The donated items we’ve received are bang on trend and means we can continue to attract younger customers to our stores, offering them fashionable clothes at a great price which is really important in these times."
