The Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland application process is now available online and from now on applications can only be submitted via this method.

The Foundation has moved its application process online to make the grant procedure even more accessible for applicants and to streamline the grant management process. Last year, the Foundation provided 565 grants across its seven grant programmes, to a value of £1,865,233.

“We have developed a new online application, which is much more accessible and environmentally friendly,” said Sinéad Tierney, Assistant Director of the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland.

“The process is much easier and user friendly and allows participants to save and review their applications online. We only ask relevant questions and applicants are able to upload all supporting documents online removing the need for any posted documents,” she added.

The next closing date is 5th July for the Community Grant programme, formally known as the Standard Grant Programme which is the main focus of the organisation, and this year £1.2 million is available for projects that focus on social and community welfare and education and training.

The average grant awarded is between £3,000 and £4,000.

The Foundation worked with Antrim-based software company Team Solutionz to develop the bespoke online application system. Team Solutionz has provided software systems to a number of local councils and funding bodies.
