The £10 million Investment and Contract Readiness Fund is open for applications. It is designed to enable social ventures to access new forms of investment and compete for public service contracts.

Organisations that aim to raise at least £500,000 in investment or which want to bid for contracts over £1 million can now apply for grants from between £50,000 and £150,000 on a rolling basis.

The fund was created in response to the fact that many organisations are not set up or ready to bid for and manage investment or contracts. It is managed by The Social Investment Business on behalf of the Office for Civil Society.

To access the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund, social ventures will need to work with an accredited partner. These include ACEVO, Action Planning, Bates Wells and Braithwaite, CAN Invest and Impetus Trust.
