Charity sector consultancy Action Planning is running a seminar on customer experience and how and why its benefits can be applied by charities.

The seminar, aimed at chief executives and senior managers, will present examples from the private and public sectors to present the case for customer experience, how it can be developed, and how it can introduced by individual charities.

Aneesha Moreira, Chief Executive of Action Planning, explained: "At a time when acquiring new customers is so challenging and expensive and competition is becoming ever fiercer it makes absolute sense for charities to focus on developing their customer experience.  Charities who are able to meet the rational and emotional needs of their supporters, beneficiaries and other key customer groups will stand out from the crowd and be more successful in the long term."
