Shortlist announced for IoF National Awards 2013

The Institute of Fundraising has announced the shortlist for its National Awards 2013. The winners will be named at a ceremony at the Hilton London Metropole by TV presenter Helen Skelton on the first evening of the Institute of Fundraising National Convention on 1 July 2013.

There are 20 aware categories this year. New awards this year include Child Fundraiser of the Year.

The awards have been running for 21 years. Ruth Moore, Head of Training and Events at the Institute, said: "This year we have created new award categories to showcase excellence, recognise achievement, and to celebrate fundraising successes over the past year."

Kevin Kibble, Chair of the Awards Judging Panel, and a trustee of the Institute of Fundraising, said: "The record number of entries to the Awards this year highlights how charities value the benefits that acknowledged success brings to individuals and teams."
