Skipton Building Society offers 160 £500 grants

To mark its 160th anniversary the Skipton Building Society is going to give 160 donations of £500 to local community groups and clubs across the UK.
Its new community giving programme, The Big 160 Appeal, will fund groups and projects such as community allotments, groups running activities for young people, and social groups for the elderly.
Groups can apply by email, branch or post using the application form. They need to include a copy of their organisation’s latest bank statement. The closing date for applications is 31 July 2013.
