TPP expands regional recruitment service with new office

Although London dominates the third sector, with most national charities based there, there are many organisations based outside the capital that may be smaller in size, but do invaluable work in their local communities.
In recent years there has been a growing trend within the third sector towards the decentralisation of charity operations. It makes sense to situate fundraising, communications and administration in the same location as service delivery.
For these local charities and branches, recruiting experienced and highly skilled employees can be a struggle, as there is a smaller pool of potential candidates to choose from, and they sometimes have to settle for less-engaged employees who would prefer to work in London. They often have to turn to consultancies based in London or local non-specialist recruiters to help.

To meet this need, TPP has now opened a second office in Newcastle, focused on recruiting experienced and skilled charity staff in regional areas. Concentrating initially on the North East, North West, Yorkshire & the Humber, and Scotland, we can supply candidates who actively want to work in locations outside of London.
TPP Chief Executive Jayne Morris explains “Increasing numbers of our clients have been asking for help when recruiting new staff outside of London, so we are delighted to be able to offer them support from regionally-based consultant with a network of local candidates."
The recruitment service will be headed up by Regional Recruitment Manager Ellen Drummond, who has many years of experience recruiting for the charity sector.
