As this memorable year of sport in the UK draws to an end, the Directory of Social Change has published a new edition of The Guide to Sports Funding. This edition is, for the first time, available as a digital download.

It is aimed at both organisations and individuals searching for sports funding.

It includes "all of the major trusts" and many smaller trusts that give to sporting activities, "with over 70 of which you won't find anywhere else". Fifteen of them are new trusts registered in the past year.

It also lists corporate and statutory funding sources. About 25 organisations in the directory consider applications from individuals. There is information on funding for playing fields and recreational spaces, and a section devoted to disability sport.

The guide classifies funding by 13 types of sport.

The Guide to Sports Funding, by Jonny Morris and Lucy Lernelius-Tonks, costs £42 (including VAT) as a digital download.
