Making the most of the extra hour

Howard Lake | 23 October 2012 | Blogs

The clocks go back by one hour this weekend. While some of us will be happy to spend an extra hour in bed, there are plenty of dynamic fundraisers and supporters who plan to make the most of those extra 60 minutes.

The Big Hour

The Big Hour is Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity biggest annual fundraising and awareness event. Between 22-28 October 2012 the charity is asking people across the country to celebrate the extra hour by baking and then selling cakes to raise funds for the families it supports.

Warren’s Extra Hour

Handmade furniture businessman Warren Evans is celebrating the extra hour by inviting nominations for charities in London and Brighton to receive a donation and a day’s volunteering from his team.
