Help Harry Help Others becomes a charity
Harry Moseley, the inspiring young fundraiser, has got his wish: his Help Harry Help Others campaign to raise funds for brain cancer research has now become a registered charity.
Harry, who died on 11 October 2011, was inspired to act following the death of his close friend and fellow patient Robert Harley. He raised over £650,000, with his fundraising bracelets being covered extensively in national and local media.
His fundraising success resulted in the posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2012 JustGiving Awards.

He wanted to create his own charity, and his parents have now fulfilled that. Help Harry Help Others is now a registered charity which aims to help all families suffering from cancer.
The charity will continue Harry’s schools’ initiative and the fundraising bracelets. Fronted by celebrity ambassador Duncan Bannatyne, star of TV’s ‘Dragon’s Den’, the initiative is built around Harry’s famous bracelets, allowing schools to raise funds for the charity and for their own school fund. It will also inspire children to ‘do good’ and make a difference.
It will also teach children basic business skills “without them even realising”. Harry’s Enterprise covers profit, loss, finance, marketing, sales, IT, team work, confidence building and public speaking.
Harry’s mother and charity chairman Georgie Moseley said: “So much of what Harry was about was getting his class mates from up and down the country to do what they could to help others. He inspired them but also gave them the tools to create something they could use to raise money and do something to help those they cared about”.
