Round Table chooses Sparks for year-long partnership
Community service organisation Round Table Great Britain and Ireland has chosen children’s medical research charity Sparks as its charity of the year. It aims to raise £100,000 during that period through various activities include skydives, golf challenges and the London Marathon.
Jason Thomson, National President of Round Table, said: “We’re really looking forward to what we can achieve within the partnership, as it is for such a worthwhile cause. Children’s medical research is desperately underfunded but there is some great work going on across the UK and Sparks funding is vital in helping this work continue.”
Elvira Morrison, head of regional fundraising at Sparks, added: “Round Table’s… fundraising and awareness raising efforts will help us in our mission to help more babies be born healthy and stay healthy.”
