Two National Convention bursaries on offer from IOF Technology SIG

Howard Lake | 18 May 2012 | News

The Institute of Fundraising’s Technology Special Interest Group is for the first time offering two bursaries to this July’s National Fundraising Conference. There are on offer to “charity-side fundraisers who specialise in technology”.
The Special Interest Group will give the bursaries to two fundraisers who are working for a registered charity, and who are either a specialist in database or digital fundraising, or are a sole fundraiser who has a job which covers these areas.
One bursary will be given to a fundraiser from a charity with a voluntary income of £1 millon or less, and the other to one at a larger charity.
To be eligible, applicants should be members of the Institute of Fundraising, or work for an organisation that is itself a member. Ideally they would have attended one of the Group’s meetings.
They must also agree to tweet from the event, write a blog post for the Group’s website, and write a 500-word report on how they and their charity benefited from the bursary.
