Small Charity Week 2012 takes place next month from 11 to 15 June, offering a variety of free opportunities for small charities across the UK to fundraise and raise their profile.
These include:
* the eBay for Small Charity Week Auction – including the eBay Give at Checkout competition which closes on 18 May
* The Biggest Quiz– a toolkit is available to support organisations in engaging with current and new supporters by running a quiz during Small Charity Week.
* public collections opportunities in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol – Small Charity Week is working with councils, train stations and shopping centers across the UK to offer licenses for small charities to fundraise in their communities.
Small Charity Week has a different theme each day. During Big Advice Day (Tuesday 12 June) the organisers have secured fundraisers from a number of organisations including Oxfam, Merlin, Beat Bullying and the Red Cross coming together to offer free one-to-one fundraising advice to small charities.
