DonorPerfect offers mobile access via iPhone and Android app

Fundraising database company SofterWare Inc has introduced a mobile app for users of its DonorPerfect fundraising software to enable fundraisers to access the database via their mobile device. Charity staff can now access their donor data whenever and from wherever they want.
The mobile app was launched in March at the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International conference in Vancouver, Canada. It can enable fundraisers to:
• View upcoming appointments
• Call or email supporters with just one tap
• Find donors near their current location
• Take notes on major donor visits
iPhone users of DonorPerfect can simply visit the App Store or Google Play (formally called the Android Marketplace), and search for DonorPerfect to download it.
Jon Biedermann, Vice President of Fundraising Products for SofterWare, explained that, 10 years ago, DonorPerfect was one of the one of the first fundraising databases to offer web access to fundraisers and charity staff. He added: “DonorPerfect Mobile continues that path of innovation, by leveraging the unique capabilities of mobile devices”.
