Red Cross Week 2012

Howard Lake | 13 April 2012 | News

The British Red Cross is promoting Red Cross Week 2012, which runs from 6 to 12 May, using a mock 1950s black and white TV advert style, complete with a commentator using received pronunciation.
“Dash it all — sometimes Joe or Jane Public can be a little unsure about how to get involved. Here’s some tip-top fundraising advice from the British Red Cross video archives that still rings true today.
“Red Cross Week 2012 runs 6-12 May so don’t dilly dally — visit our station on the world wide web or drop us a telegram without delay.”
The advert was performed and narrated by Alex Ratcliffe, Natalie Ball and Phil Mulryne of Fitzrovia Radio.
