New head of events fundraising at Sparks

Alisa Fleishman has joined Sparks, the children’s medical research charity, as head of events fundraising. She joins from KIDS where she was events and donor development manager and before that worked at Norwood.
At Sparks she will focus on developing a new strategy around the charity’s event fundraising activities over the coming year. Her appointment follows a strategic review at the charity which sets out a plan for development over the next five years.
Fleishman said: “A large part of my remit will involve looking at how we can increase our fundraising income and reduce our costs, I will also be looking to create a more diverse portfolio of events that caters for all age groups and all parts of the community.”
