Charity Greetings aims to raise extra £100,000 for charities this Christmas

Greeting card company Charity Greetings believes that it can raise at least an extra £100,000 for charities across the country this Christmas having substantially expanded its range of Christmas cards.
Indeed, it claims that it is being conservative in this estimate, given that this figure is less than 0.1% of the UK’s average expenditure on Christmas cards. According to the UK Greeting Card Association, we spend more than £170 million each year on Christmas cards with 121.5 million cards being sent.
Charity Greetings has launched a range of more than 400 designs on its online greeting card shop.
Founder, Craig Hartzel, explained: “Historically charities only ever offer their supporters a small range of designs to choose from and if the cards offered did not suit their individual tastes, they may possibly have lost their Christmas card support.
“We have sourced the largest selection of Christmas cards available than ever before all in one place – our online greeting card shop.”
He pointed out that it would take less than 0.1% of card senders to switch their greeting card spend in order to raise an extra £100,000 at Christmas.
Supporters can buy box sets of festive cards and are also offered the opportunity to add an extra donation for their charity of choice.
