gift2help.com lets charities fundraise from shopping list of projects
Fundraise for free at the click of a mouse!
gift2help.com, a non-profit fundraising website, has just announced its launch offering an exciting and innovative way for small to medium-sized charities across the world to fundraise for free.
Unlike any other charity-giving website, gift2help.com ensures that 100% of every single donation goes directly to the charity concerned with absolutely no cost to the charity at all. This is a fantastic opportunity for charities and a welcome addition to the world of online donating. Charities can request specific resources which they require for projects and in turn donors can choose to donate towards all, or part, of the item. This is great because charities are able to raise funds according to their needs and donors gain the satisfaction of knowing that they are making a material difference.
Donors can visit the website, choose the charity they would like to support and then view a shopping list of items required for its projects. For example, a charity may require 10 school books for children and adults at £10 each. If a donor decides to give £30 for three books, this amount is forwarded to the charity to buy the items, leaving seven available for other donors to purchase. Also, with a variety of charities featured on gift2help.com, it is possible to make donations to several different organisations at the same time.
Founded by returned overseas volunteers – Markus Stricker, who gave time to work with children in Kenya and Guenther Aistleitner, who volunteered in Bulgaria and Latvia – gift2help.com is a social enterprise which means it is non-profit making; driven by a social aim, with any profits reinvested into social objectives.
Markus explains: “Having worked for charities ourselves, we are very aware of the struggle many organisations have to raise funds for essential items and resources and – while there are other charity giving websites out there – the administration charges often make them prohibitive for smaller charities with very limited funds available. Some websites have monthly fees and others take a significant chunk from every donation made. Quite often the donor is totally unaware of these ‘hidden’ costs. gift2help.com gives even the smallest charities access to the benefits of online donating.”
Of course there are always operational costs involved in running such a service, and in order to address this donors are charged a small handling fee, much like postage and packaging.
“gift2help.com is totally transparent and we believe that donors would prefer to pay a minimal handling charge and know that their entire donation is going directly to their chosen charity,” says Markus.
Gift2help is always looking for new charities to take advantage of the fantastic fundraising opportunity they are providing. For more information about how your charity can start fundraising through gift2help.com, email Markus at:

The concept of gift2help.com was developed two years ago but due to technical difficulties the launch was delayed. gift2help.com is delighted to announce that it is now up and running smoothly and looking to recruit further charities to sign up to the service.
