Resource Alliance seeks speakers for 2012 IFC in Holland

The Resource Alliance, organiser of this week’s annual International Fundraising Congress in Holland, is inviting proposals for presentations at the 2012 event.
Proposals are sought for workshops. Given the prestigious nature of the event, there are some restrictions around applying. First, of course, you need to demonstrate “a proven track record of expertise in your chosen field as well as great presentational skills”. Secondly, the material must be novel and not have been covered or presented at a previous IFC. Thirdly, “in order to demonstrate your familiarity with the event and its unique audience we request that all speakers submitting proposals have attended the IFC in the past”.
There are no speaker fees but The Resource Alliance will offer to refund the cost of economy travel to and from the event for speakers.
The speakers are chosen by the IFC Advisory Panel, a volunteer group of people with fundraising expertise from around the world, chaired by Paul Farthing of Age UK.
The closing date for proposals to speak at IFC is 31 October 2011.
