Nominations for The Young Achievers Awards open

Youth charity The Young Achievers Trust is inviting the public and organisations to submit nominations for its Young Achiever Awards. These recognise outstanding young people, aged between 16 and 25 years old, for their contributions to society in the arts, environment, community and sports.
Nominees must be aged between 16-25 years old and those shortlisted will be judged by young people and experts in each field, who look of evidence of individuals’ personal growth, leadership and community impact.
Winners and runners up will receive prize packages that can include money can’t buy prizes plus a year of support and other development opportunities.
The Young Achievers Trust has for the past 25 years supported inspirational young volunteers in delivering projects which make differences to the communities across England.
Nominations close 12 November 2011.
